About the Ülemiste City saunafestival
Welcome to Ülemiste City in Tallinn on 4–5 June 2026 to enjoy sauna steam, a beautiful event location in the Ülemiste City Community Park, and a variety of sauna rituals — from sounds and aromas to whisking and hot tubs. A truly Estonian experience.
At the Ülemiste City Community Park, visitors will find Astera’s large black pop-up sauna, comfortably accommodating 30 people, and at peak times offering sauna steam to more than 50 guests. During this event, the black sauna is a silent sauna: during sound and aroma rituals, only the sauna master may speak. At other times, the sauna is intended as a quiet moment — a private home for your thoughts.
In addition to the Astera sauna, the highlight of the area is a large white pop-up sauna, where all classic sauna rituals (with whisking) take place. It can accommodate 80+ people seeking warmth.
Entry to the saunas, hot tubs, and regular sauna bathing is free — no ticket required. All sauna rituals (in both the white and black saunas) are paid (day ticket: €5–15).
Comfortable changing and washing facilities are available on site in the Community House. The same building also has WC facilities and free cloakroom service (please do not leave valuables).
Alcohol consumption is not permitted in the sauna festival area.
Visiting the saunas and hot tubs is done in swimwear. Guests are welcome to move around the area in flip-flops. In cooler weather, wearing a bathrobe while moving around the area is recommended.
